Sonya is the newest addition to our team. She began her journey with us in July of 2019 learning the trade and absorbing as much information as possible. Before coming to 5 Monkeys Sonya graduated manga cum laude from Plymouth State University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies - Art and Psychology; with a minor in Photography. After college she went on to teach art for a K-8 school before leaving to pursue art more passionately, and joined the 5 Monkeys team. Sonya has always enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the service industry, waitressing or bartending all around NH, you can find her behind the bar next door at Wing Itz once or twice a week. She enjoys painting and drawing in her spare time when she’s not out on her kayak or motorcycle. Sonya has always been interested in learning to tattoo as an art form.
